Most of Amsterdam's gay venues are at walking distance, so there is no need to travel long distances on a night out.
In Amsterdam, bars close at 01 (Fri/Sat 03) (except Eagle which is open till 04/ 05) and clubs at 04 (Fri/Sat 05).

Please note that most kitchens close at 22:00, so you would need to be in a restaurant before then.
Unlike other cities, Amsterdam has only few real gay restaurants, which makes them even more worthwile.
