Other areas you may want to consider staying at

  • Museum Quarter
  • A beautifull and quiet area in town, close to the 'Quartier Latin' of Amsterdam ("de Pijp"); average about 10 minutes away from the Leidseplein and Kerkstraat area.
find me a hotel in this area

  • Vondelpark Quarter
  • The most beautifull buildings in town can be found here; lovely and quiet.
Please be aware that the Vondelpark is quite big; if you stay at the down-town city side, you may be a few minutes walk away from the Leidseplein and Kerkstraat area. However, if you stay at the opposite side of the park, it may take you more then half an hour walk. Renting a bike might be a good idea in that case.

  • Convention Centre (RAI) area
  • Not our choice to stay at if you would like to explore town; average taxi fee around 25 euro's one way and up; too far to go by bike.

  • Schiphol Area:
  • Again a long long way from town. Would only stay there for a short stop between flights.
